Toowoomba Markets and Festivals
G'day. This page gathers every Toowoomba market and festival we've published, with start and finish times, the venue, the suburb and a cost label — from us here at Toowoomba Community.
Four easy steps
How to find a market for this weekend
You don't need an account and you don't need to read the whole page. Four steps and you're out the door.
Narrow it down
Pick your date range first — this weekend, next weekend, or the whole month. Then choose a suburb or a surrounding Darling Downs town, the market or festival type, and free or paid entry.
Scan the cards
Upcoming markets sit above upcoming festivals. Each card carries the name, the date, the start and end time, the venue name, the suburb and a cost label exactly as the organiser gave it to us.
Check the source line
Under every listing you'll see its verification level, where the listing came from, and when it was last updated. Official listings come from the organiser. Community listings come from a neighbour and get reviewed before they go up.
Open it and go
Tap through for the full listing — address, accessibility notes, organiser contact and a booking link where one exists. Then check the events calendar to see what else is on nearby the same day.
How we work
A clear path from first conversation to finished work.
Events Calendar and What's On
A searchable, filterable calendar of local events with month, week and list views, plus an individual page for every published event showing venue, times, cost, accessibility notes and organiser details.
Submit an Event, Notice or Organisation
Straightforward submission forms for organisers, community groups and businesses, with a clear moderation process and status shown on every submission before it is published.
Local Organisations Directory
Profiles for community groups, clubs, associations, schools, sporting bodies, services and local businesses, each with contact links, related events and location data.
Community News and Notices
Articles, announcements and community notices covering what is happening across the Toowoomba region, with source and last-updated details on every item.
We'd rather show you nothing than send you across town to a market that isn't on. If it's on this page, someone published it and we can show you where it came from.

Frequently Asked Questions
- Why can't I see any markets listed?
- Because nothing has been published for that filter yet. Our wording for it is simple: no markets published yet — if you run one, submit it and we'll list it. We only show listings that come from published data with a visible source, so an empty result means nobody has sent us one for those dates or that town. Widen your date range or clear the suburb filter and try again.
- What do I need to include when I submit a market or festival?
- Seven things cover it: the name, the date with start and finish times, the venue name and street address, the stall or entry cost, a booking link if there is one, accessibility notes, and a contact we can reach on the day. Send those through and we can usually publish without coming back to you. Missing details are the main reason a submission sits waiting.
- Do you cover towns outside Toowoomba?
- Yes — surrounding Darling Downs towns appear in the suburb and town filter as organisers submit events from them. We add a town to the filter when there is something real to list there, rather than publishing a long list of place names with nothing behind them.
- What does the "verified only" filter do?
- It hides anything we haven't confirmed with the organiser. Every listing carries a verification level — official, community or unverified — alongside its source and the date it was last updated. Tick verified only and you'll see the official ones. Leave it off and you'll also see community submissions, which we review before publishing but can't always confirm on the organiser's behalf.
- Are the entry and stall costs accurate?
- We show the cost label exactly as the organiser supplied it, and you can filter for free or paid. We don't set prices and we don't estimate them. If a listing looks out of date, check its last-updated line, then follow the organiser link or booking link on the full listing before you head out.
- Where do the social posts come from?
- From community and organiser social accounts we've connected. Posts are ingested, sorted into categories like Markets, and then read by one of us before publication — nothing appears automatically. Each card shows its source and category so you can tell an organiser's own post from a community one.
- I run a market every month. Do I resubmit each time?
- No. Tell us it's recurring when you submit and we'll set it up so it appears on the right dates. Send us a message whenever the time, venue or cost changes and we'll update the listing and refresh its last-updated line.
