Toowoomba events this Carnival of Flowers season
Garden beds in full colour, the town full of visitors, and a hundred smaller things happening the same weekend. Every Toowoomba event we publish sits in one local calendar you can filter by date, category and suburb.

Why we built this
Nobody should need six Facebook groups to plan a Saturday
The information exists. It's just scattered across group pages, printed flyers, share-and-tag posts and a photo of a poster someone took on their phone.
Here's how it usually goes. You've got a free Saturday, so you scroll. A market post from three weeks ago. A gig with no start time. A school fete you only hear about on the Monday after. By the time you've pieced it together the morning is gone and everyone is still in the kitchen arguing about breakfast.
It's no better from the other side. If you run a club, a market stall or a fundraiser, you're re-typing the same details into five places and hoping the right people scroll past at the right moment. Small groups do not have a communications team. They have a treasurer with a laptop.
Carnival season makes both problems louder. There is more on than any other month of the year, half of it is run by volunteers, and a visitor who has driven up the range has no idea which post is current.
Carnival colour
The kind of weekend this town does properly
Flower beds, food vans, markets under the trees and a band in a park. When the Carnival is on the whole calendar gets louder — these are the sorts of listings that fill it.

The calendar
A Toowoomba events calendar you can filter the way you search
Month, week or a plain list — then narrow it down until what's left is something you'd actually go to.
How this is different
Local-first, moderated, and built to be updated by real people
Three decisions shape everything here — and they're the reason this doesn't read like a tourism brochure or one dumped social widget.
Every listing is checked before it appears
Submissions from organisers, groups and businesses go into a queue and get looked at by a person. You can see the status of anything you send us, and community-submitted content is labelled differently to official information.

Social posts routed to the right page
Approved posts, photos and videos from community and organiser pages get categorised, so a market post lands on the markets hub and the calendar instead of disappearing into a wall of unrelated updates.
Groups, clubs and schools get their own
Not just events. Toowoomba community groups, sporting clubs, associations, schools and local services each get a page with contact links, upcoming events and where to find them — so you can chase the organisation, not a single date.
Tell us what you've got on and we'll put it on the
A market stall, a fundraiser, a club season opener, a single Sunday session in a park — it belongs on the calendar.
